Get to Know Dr. Daniel Stewart
Dr. Stewart has been part of the dental world for well over three decades, and it’s been one of his greatest pleasures to offer patients life-changing dental care. Aside from giving people hope and confidence in their smiles, he also loves working alongside an incredible and passionate staff who make every day amazing. Read on to learn a little more about his background and experience before coming in for your visit!
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Stewart first wanted to pursue a career in the medical field, but he wasn’t able to attend medical school. However, he started working at a dental clinic after college, and it was there that he grew a deep interest in practicing dentistry. To this day, he loves improving smiles and changing the lives of those around him for the better.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After graduating from Marquette University, Dr. Stewart went on to study at Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. He’s also undergone countless hours of extensive training in various dental topics, and he’s attended the Pankey Institute to become a laser specialist. He used to be a member of the American Dental Association, the Maryland Dental Association, and the American Academy of Clear Aligners. Today, he is a proud and active member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry as a LANAP Specialist, and he’s been Invisalign certified for 20 years!
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Whenever he isn’t at the office treating smiles, Dr. Stewart loves spending time with his wife, their two daughters, and their pet dogs, cat, chickens, fish, and horse. One fun fact about him: he once provided dentistry in the mountains of the Dominican Republic and Honduras on mission work.
